What is the difference between ADSL and ADSL2+?
ADSL works by utilizing the higher frequencies of a standard copper cable telephone line, in conjunction with a telephone line filter, so that you can use your phone and stay connect to the Internet all at the same time.

The differences with ADSL1 and ADSL2+ are faster speeds – ADSL1 offers up to 8Mbps and ADSL2+ provides improved speeds of up to 20Mbps* although actual speeds vary due to a number of factors.

To understand this, a 500MB short film or TV show could be downloaded in as little as:
 minutes and 20 seconds with ADSL up to 20Mbps
8  minutes and 20 seconds with ADSL up to 8Mbps
44 minutes and 27 seconds with ADSL 1.5Mbps
4 hours and 21 minutes with ADSL 256kbps
19 hours and 38 minutes 56kbps dial-
