computer network article - Computer Network Information

The structure of network is known as protocols and components necessary to achieve the requirements of one of the criteria commonly applied to explain the structural model for Open system Interconnect (OSI) from International stands organization (ISO): ISO model identifies the full range of functions of the network. OSI Reference Model is also a model to represent a variety of standards and the capacity of wireless network connectivity to work.

OSI classes provide the following networking functions:

*class 7 -  Application class: This class establish communication among the users and provide basic telecommunication services such as file transfer and electronic mail are examples of software that operate at this class include Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) _ Hypertext Transfer Protocol(HTTP) - File transfer protocol(FTP).

* Class 6 - class representation: this class work on the word of the data transferred to the class of applications and carries out the translation between different data formats if necessary. For example, this class can translate encryption connecting to data when connecting a remote system by different vendors.

* Class 5 - meeting class: this class establish, manage and finish the session between the applications of wireless translation software access control which provide this form of communication via the wireless network if the wireless network face the overlapping functions of the separation of the contact class on a temporary basis until finishing the overlap.

* Class 4 - Transport class: this class Provides mechanisms for the establishment and maintenance of virtual circuits when the mask of the upper classes on the details of the use of the network. Generally, this is a communications circuit between the applications of the network realized by a single communications circuit to another circuit (for example between the Web browser on a laptop computer and the Web server) protocols such as transmission control protocol (TCP) works in this class.

* Class 3 - Network class: this class provides the path of packets through the network from the source to the stable and secures these tracks led toward sending packages to the stable-designate, protocols such as Internet Protocol (IP) work in this class.

*-Class 2 - data link class – this class provides access to the center as well as synchronization and error control between the two entities. This includes wireless networks, often in the coordination of access to central air and the retrieval of mistakes that can occur in data from the source to the stable, and has the most kinds of wireless networks; a common method to accomplish the functions of data link class and is separated to the actual method of transmission.

* Class 1 - Physical class: this class provides the actual transmission o
